1. The pause on GH is a tactical and last ditch effort by the admin to stave off massive withdrawals for the yuletide. Also, the admin allowed for continued PHing which is likely to outstrip GH by 14/01/17 thereby balancing the system.

2. The extension of GH maturity from 14 days tenor to 30 days tenor is another smart move by the admin to accumulate PH which is comparable to increasing commercial banks reserve/capital base to avoid collapse.

3. The ratio of Nigerian population to the members of MMM is colossal, this means that MMM in Nigeria is still very far from reaching its optimal point.

4. CBN's latest announcement that Nigerians should stop doing MMM is a testament that they are aware that MMM did not crash but still waxing strong.

5. Recession is still biting hard & many Nigerians would rather pitch tenth with a system that is paying rather than remain hopeless and die of hunger and frustration.
