Pls whenever i try to charge my laptop it is always discharging attimes it wont charge at all what could be the possble reason, hp laptop

Your battery is go bad.. .change it.

Move your mouse to the battery icon on your desktop and tell me what it says , whether " plugged in, charging" or plugged in, not charging".

That aside, you can test your system with another charger . if problem persist, try another battery. if it persist, contact a technician. if you are in Lagos , you can contact me for solution

plug in charging....

and it's not charging... I'm 90% sure this is a motherboard issue.

if it's plug in not charging, that's a different case but plug in charging, discharging shows its not charging and you're using it which make the percentage to drop.


first of all test with a new ba3, if after that it still doesn't work, an engineer will work charging on the motherboard.


Take it to an engineer.
