African Poetry: THE GIRL, THE BISHOP AND THE PIANIST The piano was somewhere, at the backdrop. The atmosphere was definitely different. She was shouting Holy-Ghost repeatedly, And making some sounds. The bishop thought the message had sank inwardly, He didnt know she was merely enjoying the sound from the piano. She had fallen out of Love with the word, And had risen in love with his hands. ©Badiru Kehinde 2016 (Poet, Fiction Writer, Editor, Freelance Writer, Graduate Student) For more poems ff InstaGram @Kejibanks Www.badirukehindewrites. |
