Like I had 34 teeth before and plus two now, its 34.

It’s common for those who go to Mecca for pilgrimage to put on extra golden teeth, especially where people would see it.

Some use that as cosmetics and some use that as a symbol of wealth.

What about the use for religious purposes? Why do Alhaji/Alhaja use golden teeth? Is it something made compulsory by Islam? Is it only a symbol of wealth?

What would happen to those who’ve been to Mecca, but don’t have golden teeth? Can such teeth break bones?

As far as I'm concerned, it is not in any way necessary or important. Most people (I think yorubas especially) mainly just do it as a means of showing off that they've gone for hajj. This is the kind of ostentatious spending highly discouraged in Islam.
