its called 'fara'.I tasted it for the forst time when i did my IT in d north.Someone from maidugri brought it from home and all d people n my room were feasting on it, I tasted it out of curiousity and i was hooked, It really tastes nice, anywhere i see 'fara', i must buy, It's a cheap source of protein over there, TRUST ME GUYS IT IS DELICIOUS, YUMMY,

What the poster Is ignorantly refering to is bush cricket. Yes I mean the one that makes that sceeching noise. Its nice if u find the Big and juicy type. Catching it in the school farm was one of my pastime in secondary school. They are easier to catch in the rainy season.

what the poster said is true. Am presently serving in maiduguri and i see alot of people eating it. was really surprised the first time i saw it but is really true. it looks very nice but can't eat it sha.
