A magistrate court in Osogbo, Osun state has issued a bench warrant for the arrest of the Oluwo of Iwo, Oba Abdulrasheed Akanbi.

Oba Akanbi, who has been accused of internet fraud, has however revealed he has no plans of appearing in court.

The case had been instituted against him by the Oluwo of Iwo Oke, Oba Kadiri Adeoye. On the 20th of December, Mr. Olusola Aluko, presiding over the magistrate court, had issued the warrant for Oba Akanbi.

This is Jealousy between the two Obas and The Magistrate is playing dangerous political game with tradition. The Magistrate should get out of his game and allow The Yoruba Council of Obas to solve the problem.
