Most of us are often confused about are history am talking about no other tribe but the people of Eno Ibom Iboku of Eburutu clan , it might sound strange in our ears as its the first time of hearing this but its true we are not Akwa-Cross but the people of Eno Ibom Iboku Eburutu tribe which consist of Ibibios, Annang The Abatim Eno Iboku , Atai Eno Iboku , the oro , Uruan Ibeno The Ogoja which consist of all northern Cross River and western Cameroon according to history these body of people left Ethiopia their country home due to the hostility of it neighbours so they had flea from their country land in search of greener pasture so on their way to the western world they encounter one problem or the other which led to their division some cross over to Ghana some to Nigeria via lake chad while some sojourn through Cameroon and Congo the ones who passed through lake chad went and reside among Aros in present day Abia state during this time the people Of Uruan had already settled peacefully in their present location in Akwa Ibom state the people who happen to settle with Arochukwu where Abatim Eno Iboku (ENIONG ABATIM ) and Atai Eno Iboku (Efik ) these set people had misunderstanding with their Neighbour and they left mean while on their way Abatim Eno Iboku found a befitting island were they rested on the other hand Atai Eno Iboku went on with his children on his way he came across a county people of which are his brothers Uruan before now the present Efik language we are speaking now was not there its the UNITY of both Efik and Uruan that bring about these melisiouce language known today as EFIK LANGUAGE before now the Ibibios of which i do not have their original name yet but will come out with something had intermarried with the people of Congo Pygmy i can not ascertain what really happen to them there before they left for Nigeria but history have it that Congo suffer more from tse tse fly which could be one of the reason they left for Nigeria when they passed through Bakassi peninsular the was no tress of oro so there wentstraight in to Ibeno some felt in love with it cool atmosphere so the ones who were mostly farmers went inland long before now Efiks have already settled at old Calabar in present day creek town history have it that ibibios came struggling for a piece of land with Abatim Ibom Eno Iboku's children the war was too difficult for the Abatim''s to handle then they send for their brothers at calabar to come and support them which they did and ofcause Eniong won and gave some parcels of land to families who and supported in that war that was where the Ibibios came in unity with The people of IBOKU the said parcel of land is Ibiono L G A in AKWA IBOM STATE the war front was Ukim mbiam in Afia Eniong , Ibiono L.G.A AKWA IBOM STATE (TOBE CONTINUED)
