BREAKING: Flying Eagles Defender Shot Dead By Cultist In Benin City by schoolhelpng(m): 1:42pm On Dec 30, 2016


Reports reaching Owngoalnigeria.com has it that Nigeria youth international Douglas Uzama has been killed by suspected cultist in Benin City, Edo State Nigeria.

Uzama was a part of the all conquering Nigeria U-17 team of 2015 and also played for the U-20 team during their ill fated attempt to qualify for next year Africa Youth Championship.

Last season he represented newly promoted Nigeria Premier League side Gombe United, where he was part of the defence line that helped the team gain promotion.

He was reportedly shot by the clutist in same South South region of Nigeria, where another professional footballer Izu Joseph was shot and killed in a cultist den according to a statement from the military.
