I will like to know the views of everyone on property taxe.

If the government was to access the value of each property in Lagos based on the selling price of similar properties in the Neighbourhood then charge 1.5% property tax on each property every year do you think houses and lands (.3%) will still be priced like they are now?

To pay for free education through high school and free health through high school in government schools and hospitals.

I think those ridiculous lands in Lagos will be priced with less speculation.

That should be the next step for both Lagos and Ogun state govt

That guarantees that the very rich people pay more than the basic and every property owner will have to pay.

Roads can easily be fixed in residential areas if the system is not massively corrupt like the current system and taxes will be paid to LG not state
