KevinDein: Bros uncooked rice is a very bad remedy. It leaves a solution on the motherboard that can.easily cause corrosion. But dont take my word for it. Just check it up |

The first thing you do when your phone gets wet is: REMOVE THE BATTERY IMMEDIATELY! Remove the SIM CARDS and MEMORY CARD. Dry off the battery and the phone with tissue paper or similar. Get out all the water you can. It is very important whether the water was fresh or salty. If it was salt water, you should have to clean it away with fresh water, then dry it all over again. Do not try to dry the phone by laying it out in the Sun! Do not try putting the battery back in, and turning it on, "to see whether it still works." Forget that this thing is a phone for the next several days! Having shaken and swabbed out all the water you can, shove it deep into a bag of rice, and leave it there for a week. I personally recommend that you wrap it in some thin cloth, to prevent dust or insects getting into it. DRY, UNCOOKED RICE ABSORBS MOISTURE SLOWLY. It should still be edible, afterward- unless your phone fell in something toxic. |

Wasky101: It would not. Beer contains Alcohol, which may dissolve toxic substances from the innards or body of the phone. You may also have to rinse out the beer. |

Ribajae: OF COURSE it will leave a residue- therefore, you cannot let the rice come in direct contact with the circuitry. The phove should be wrapped in something permeable. |
