Job brief

We are looking for a Front desk executive to serve as the face of our business and senior management’s connection with our guests. We’re looking for a friendly individual who genuinely enjoys being around people and who can manage multiple tasks at once.
You will act as the ‘face’ of our company and ensure visitors receive a heart-warming welcome. You will also coordinate all front desk activities, including calls, reservations and guest’s services. As a Front Desk Executive, you should combine a pleasant personality with a dynamic professional attitude. Ultimately, you should be able to deliver professional and friendly service to our customers.
The ideal candidate will have previous customer service experience and will understand the importance of responding quickly to guests’ needs and complaints. You’ll be corresponding with guests through email, over the phone and in person. If you’ve worked in the hospitality industry before, we definitely want to talk to you.

Responsibilities

• Answer the phone at the front desk to respond to current and prospective guests’ needs
• Book reservations for individuals, families and groups as required
• Greet walk-in guests and guests with reservations when they arrive at the front desk
• Schedule special services, such as spa treatments, when guests inquire
• Refer guests to local amenities and venues
• Communicate guests’ requests and complaints to the appropriate department
• Ensure front desk is tidy and has all necessary stationery and material (e.g. pens, forms and informative leaflets)
• Ensure timely and accurate customer service
• Handle complaints and specific customers’ requests
• Troubleshoot emergencies

Requirements

• Proven minimum of 2 years working experience as a Front desk officer or Reception officer ( Experience in the hospitality industry is a plus)
• Friendly phone manner a must
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Proficiency in English (oral and written)
• Hands on experience with office machines (e.g. computer and printers)
• Thorough knowledge of customer service, office management and basic bookkeeping procedures
• Solid knowledge of MS Office, particularly Excel and Word
• Excellent communication and people skills
• Good organizational and multitasking abilities
• Problem-solving skills
• B.Sc. or HND in any relevant course ( Professional Certification is a plus )
• Very good looking ( Male or Female)
• Knowledgeable about social media marketing
• Well dressed with quality outfit
• Good personality
