You ppl should try to reason outside the box. Everything is not about religious sentiments. So long as demolitions don't have ulterior motives, govt does have the right to pull them down for safety precautions.

We have heard of churches collapsed in the past and recently. If truly the structures are illegal without permit, govt made the right move. It has nothing to do with enforcing Sharia.

Get over it

I am a christian but bible tells us to obey the law of the land, why cant these penticostal churches do simple thing...which is obeying the law.

Can you build a church in a residential area?
If they were not given approval...why continue the project.

We should be careful on what and how we behave in this nation...everywhere is charged

the existance of nigeria as it affect religion has to be redifined, meanwhile, 'christian states' should respond in same measure if not this rubbish wil consume us all before we know it. El rufia is begging for military deployment in Kaduna state to consoludate their gains not to maintain peace nd protect lives.

Of course..El Rufai is a demon hiding in the body of midget

There is nothing wrong with demolishing any building (be it church or mosque even the Palace) that does not meet up with the Government requirements at all levels. (All thing being equal)

This will help every body plan well and have a beautiful, safe and secure city.

Meanwhile, I hope all the mosques in Jigawa obeys this rule!

it is well!

That you are building a church does not put you above the law of the land!
Even the bible advocates respect and even submission to constituted authority.
The only ground for disobedience is when the law openly conflicts with that of God in which case 'we must obey God as ruler rather than men. We should do the right thing and not cause unnecessary tension.

Jounarlism should also not be used as a tool to instigate hate or violence; This has nothing to do with Adeboye stepping down.
