Two cart pushers were arraigned in an Apapa Magistrate’s Court, Lagos yesterday for allegedly stealing twelve bags of Lake Rice valued at N144,000 property of Lagos State Government. The duo, identified as Ahamed Salisu (20) and Nura Rabiu (20), were arraigned on a two-count charge of conspiracy and stealing. They both pleaded not guilty to the charge. The prosecutor told the court that the defendants committed the offences on January 12, 2017 at about 4:10am at Agric Bus Stop, Ojo in Lagos.
