The Bible supports beating of your child talk less of a slave. Spare the rod and spoil the child it says.

The rod or beating is to correct a wrong doing or behavior in the child or slave that's why it was quickly added to it that the slave is his property.

Killing under any shade is what the Bible condemns.

The Bible is perfect but the minds and understanding of the reader is often times not perfect.

So it takes the help of the Spirit of God to see it's perfection and comprehend it's teaching. The human or canal approach to the Bible is to read it as a child would or as someone without prejudices against it or logic of the contemporary knowledge or way of thinking.

The bible allows you to beat your slave to death... As long as he doesn't die immediately. Stop lying for the bible. It's dishonest

Òkay, as Christians, the Bible supersedes any other law. That's why we dont divorce even though the law and courts allow it.

Well, where the constitution contradicts the Bible, the latter shall supersede. This much I believe and there is enough ground for this in Scripture.
