The presidents of Mauritania and Guinea; Mohamed Abdel Aziz and Alpha Conde -are currently in The Gambia for last-ditch talks to persaude Yahya Jammeh to leave the country with them and seek asylum, according to reports. Can we just commend the efforts of these Presidents. This has averted an unnecessary civil war within the west African region. Kudos to them. |

I just saw on bbc that Mr Jammeh has agreed to leave ,i must commend the presidents of Mauritania and Guinea for their efforts , why didn't president Buhari and the Senegalese president not pursue non violence options to the last ? |
