YESAA is a duly registered youth-oriented initiative for Agribusiness development and advancement founded , with the purpose of encouraging and attracting Youth engagement in Agriculture and agribusiness , especially for food security, employment , poverty alleviation and diversified Exports earnings. We believe the youths are the engine block of any Nation and inevitably, will become the key drivers of her economy , including successes in agricultural transformation, if adequately prepared for the task ahead. As agriculture becomes more and more ICT driven , it is clear that the dynamism of youth must be leveraged for improved standards of delivery in the sector.

YESAA recognizes the importance of mindset-changing and capacity-building for youths in order to sustain their interest in farming. Hence it is important to rightly show the successful sides to agribusiness so that young people will see prestige , career success and dignity in Agribusiness.

Research shows that there is a knowledge gap in the agribusiness sector , with the result that Young people , sometimes, may not know where and how to proceed , especially at . Giving them access to agricultural knowledge, financing, farming space, technology, and markets may elicit more interest and participation in the sector..YESAA shares the optimism that through periodic training, networking opportunities, mentorships, volunteerism and exposure to hands on skill acquisition across the agricultural value chain , more youths will participate productively in agribusiness to the wider benefit of humanity.

YESAA was formally recognised and unveiled by the Hon Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development Chiedf Audu Ogbeh who has continuously harped on the need for the youths to be involved in Agribusiness since they are the future of the Nation.

I ve read d mission statement..and i tink its a laudable program. Buh diff agro initiatives hv been established in d past, e.g yes-o, and dey all fizzled out witin 2years... So if i may ask.. Wat is different abt yessa, are dere trainings taking place know??
