Am new to auto world, when can i add water to my new car radiator? Just curious about it, though is temperature is normal no overheating, i just wanted to know before it needed, the car is just 2 wewks and half, a new tokunbo Golf 4 variant.

Or u r just in the mood to play around with d car cos its still shacking u?

Aslong as it isn't low on fluid,don't bother

Remember,the reservoir isn't meant to be filled to the brim

If the car is new, coolant will be there na, no need add any water

let me teach you few things

radiator must be filled with coolant/anti freeze, coolant/freeze (concentrate) is a liquid chemical that should be mixed with water on 50:50 ratio

though some coolant/antifreeze come already mixed so when buying it depends whether you bought the ready mixed or concentrate

this coolant/antifreeze differs in colour based on the car manufacturer some are reddish/pink/orange and some are green, so if the colour in your coolant/antifreeze is becoming my lighter in colour you add coolant/antifreeze if its more dark you add water

finally most african people we go poor maintaince culture we use water instead of the coolant/antifreeze
