More than 11 million dollars is missing in the Gambian State coffer following the departure of the long time leader, Yahya Jammeh. An adviser to the newly elected Gambian president, Mai Ahmad Fatty said that financial experts were trying to evaluate the loss. Luxury cars and other items were being seen loaded onto a Chadian cargo plane on the night Mr Jammeh left the country. Jammeh flew into exile ending his 22 years in power which he took in 1994 in a military coup.
