The worst part of everything you wrote up there is that you haven’t proven that 3D tech itself is crap. That a technology was discontinued doesn’t mean it wouldn’t return in the future. It wasn’t banned. It just wasn’t it’s time yet considering the current cost of production. That the tv is a 3D tv doesn’t mean it doesn’t do what the other HD TVs do. If you can’t access 3D content for whatever reason best known to you, you can still use it like a normal HD tv no qualms. It just has the added capability to display 3D content which other HD TVs can’t. Learn to pick your arguments in topics you have expertise in. You clearly don’t on this one. So goodbye.

Where the sin lies is in buying it cheaper then shoot up the price by 100% and sell on a CLEARANCE SALES THREAD AS A CLEARANCE SALE. That's some demonic greed.
