it is a clear case of folks who are just pumping tires without checking the right pressure it needs. Tire explosions are very deadly. its almost equivalent to a bomb

no. only big tyres. like big truck. and passerby is safe. only the pumpers. my dad lost his life in this. he was a vulcanizer. we are lucky it didn't destroy his head totally. but you know, head is the centre of life. he lost it after two days of being in coma..

i think its over pumping that causes this and even with smaller car tires, it can cause very serious damages like those Bangers that sound like bombs..
