Enyioha Opara , Minna The Emir of Kano, Alhaji Muhammadu Sanusi II , has warned Muslim clerics in the country to stop using their mosques to preach hate among Nigerians . Sanusi gave the warning in his sermon at the ultra -modern mosque of the Federal University of Technology , Minna , Niger State on Friday . He also led the first Friday prayers in the mosque after inaugurating it . The inauguration of the mosque was one of the activities that marked the school’s 26 th convocation and 35 th anniversary. He said it was unfortunate that some Muslims, especially clerics, were hiding under the sanctity and immunity of the holy places to set one part of the society against the other. The monarch described it as totally against the tenets of Islam . He said , “ Muslim clerics , and indeed all Muslims , should preach peace among the adherents and work to achieve peace with members of other religions .” He asked Muslims all over the country to unite and forge a common front for the propagation of the religion . The monarch described it as totally against the tenets of Islam.It's either Sanusi is using the Islamic deceit aka Al taquiya or he simply hasn't read the Quran. Those clerics can never stop preaching HATE in their mosques and madrasah cos it will mean that they will stop following what the Quran orders them to do. See below... Quran (8:12) - "I will cast terror into the hearts of those who disbelieve. Therefore strike off their heads and strike off every fingertip of them" Quran (4:76) - "Those who believe fight in the cause of Allah…" Quran (8:39) - "And fight with them until there is no more fitna (disorder, unbelief) and religion is all for Allah" Surah 48:29 Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah and those with him are HARSH against the unbelievers, MERCIFUL among themselves. Quran (5:51) - "O you who believe! do not take the Jews and the CHRISTIANS for friends; they are friends of each other; and whoever amongst you takes them for a friend, then surely he is one of them; surely Allah does not guide the unjust people." Sahih Muslim (2167) - "Allah's Messenger said: Do not greet the Jews and the CHRISTIANS before they greet you and when you meet any one of them on the roads FORCE him to go to the narrowest part of it." Quran (3:151) - "Soon shall We cast terror into the hearts of the Unbelievers, for that they joined companions with Allah, for which He had sent no authority". Quran (8:65) - "O Prophet, exhort the believers to fight..." Quran (9:29) - "Fight those who believe not in Allah nor the Last Day, nor hold that forbidden which hath been forbidden by Allah and His Messenger, nor acknowledge the religion of Truth, (even if they are) of the People of the Book (CHRISTIANS), until they pay the Jizya with willing submission, and feel themselves subdued." 152 Likes 24 Shares |

I hope they would not assassinate this Emir like they did to his predecessor. He has been scolding the Muslims for some time now. From child marriage to building of mosques to tolerance. Something the supposed leader of Nigerian Muslims in Sokoto would dare not do. If only more Emirs and clerics took Sanusi's position, Nigeria would be like Jerusalem where Muslims, Jews, and Christians live in the same city with huge populations and there is no inter-religious conflict. -Lord 51 Likes 2 Shares |

Lmao. This is like asking fish not to swim, or asking birds not to fly or lay eggs. When a religion is built from the blueprints of violence and forceful oppression of everyone who is not a believer, what does that make it? When a religion does not afford any respect to its female folk, what does that make it? Can a Nigerian Imam preach in Saudi Arabia? Can a yoruba Imam preach in Kano? alBHAGDADI:Keep twisting the words of the Qur'an by highlighting just a part to suit you. well even all the battles the prophet fought were defensive battle, not the case of first attack. after the prophet had migrated, the unbelievers heard the religion was still thriving. these unbelievers gathered to attack him there, that was the reason for his battle.
