@Atunje, remember me. I was the Anambra guy u spoke with on phone. The would-be OAU maths student. At ur age, the extent of ur achievement and breakthrough is simply gratifying and encouraging. I would have loved to behold ur face in Ife,if the wind blow true. But unfortunately, this is a selfish reason. Since ur lover course is elect & elect, i will advice u to proceed to unilag,cos a bird in the hand is worth thousands in the bush. The booming and smiling days u have now , u may not be that lucky to have them again. Besides OAU and UNILAG share equally the same popularity and reputation. Ur choice of course and in extension ur future should lead u to a university and not the other way round. U may heed my advice, u may discounteance it equally. U're at full liberty to make a choice.

@atunje. i am vero that called u on phone. i suggest you do your registration fast in Unilag cos the registration will soon close. OAU are stilll contemplating though the list will soon come out. do you want to grow more bears at home? its better u do first come and first serve since unilag is the first to give u admission why are u refusing their offer. I beg me dey find opportunity ooooooo its only OAU i inserted as my first and second choice though i so much have confidence that i will be admitted.

It seems you really like OAU. But LAG is also a good school stay there, try to appreciate the school, never should you regret not being in IFE and remain focus on being the best and things will be fine for you. Wishing you the best in life.

Sounds like u re a brilliant chap poster. OAU is a great school i can tell u cos i went to same UNI but if i could turn back the hands of time i probably ll ve chosen to go Unilag instead. From wat i ve heard not much has changed since my days in OAU i got admitted to to study an engineering course in OAU in 1997 i left OAU in 2007, when i should ve finished 2001/2002. i ll suggest u speak to a currect student in the faculty life in OAU dcould be demanding frustrating and tough ur still young anyway so maybe u wont mind wasting precious years in Great Ife. again u ll find out that with the present nature of things whether u study elect/ elect or comp engr you will be able to work in same industry depending in ur area of specialisation. Whatever choice u make i wish u luck u ll need it especially if u end up in ife. meanwhile ask present tech/science student in ife about the wrath of white house. wont be nice for u to ve an extra year from level 1!!
