With a total of 54 countries, Africa is the second largest continent in the world in terms of population and land area. To the north, the continent is bounded by the Mediterranean Sea, to the west by the Atlantic Ocean, to the northeast by the Red Sea, while to the southeast; Africa is bounded by the Indian Ocean – all these, coupled with a diverse populace as well as a wide range of spectacular attractions make Africa a unique place to visit.
Although the continent is wrongly seen as a land of poverty, war and suffering, Africa has grown and developed to a vast continent with many bustling metropolises, friendly people and amazingly beautiful landscapes.
