The only reason @bolded is because female doctors hardly want to specialise in that field.Most prefer to become paediatricians or something else.
I've heard young female doctors say they don't want 'women wahala'.
Many male doctors in that field do it for the passion(being in the process of birthing a child) and interest,not because they want to see naked bodies.There's enough naked bodies in the media already.

I have been in practice for over 17years.Not once have I fooled around with an an unclad female body.I know many colleagues who are that way too.
I'm telling you,out of 5 doctors,maybe one will misbehave.

If there are enough females gynaecologists,maybe.
There aren't enough doctors for the population not to talk of having females for females.
Doctors are trained to treat both sexes and I don't see any big deal in it.The human body is overated really.I can confidently say most doctors just do their jobs.

I felt smh when she used the word but I jst looked the other way. Many don't seem to understand. Sincerely, I av gone online to search reactions of females on male Gyn. There are cases of creepy Male Gyn fumbling wit their clients and what not. Thanks for the first hand info, sincerely before putting up the thread. Over time av thought of it. Well some are also professional and don't mix feelings with it. But even at that a few percentage from these ones actually feel the heat atimes but jst act professional in the presence of their clients.

OK will u gladly alow and av no resentment whatever about it if a male gyn should av access to every part of ur body in the name of examining u. Take a case of the pap smear test they do, they poke into ur V in and out to take stuffs for test for cervical cancer or what not. Now can u gladly and willingly spread ur legs and allow him do all that as long as he his very professional

A female nurse is always present. That is how it is done. Professionally.
That you use a male gynecologist has nothing to do with decency. This is health we are talking about. If it is a male gynecologist that will get the job done, why not?

I know someone who wanted to have a baby. Females were checking her and they were ignorantly telling her it wasnt time. It was a male that dipped hand in her vagina and announced the baby was close. Then she gave birth and the degree of tear could not be managed by the midwife. They had to call a male doctor to suture her vagina (would you rather your wife carry tear tear vagina home). Then she developed post partum pile, and a male surgeon had to look at her butt hole. Loool.

They do not check breassts for lumps

Gosh ..you are not even a woman so why this uninformed post.
Breastts exams can be done by your GP or general surgeon if you have lumps.
Even plastic surgeons that do breastfeeding surgeries are not Gynaecolgists.

And yes I am female, medic family and have seen gynaecologists numerous times.
Done breastt exams routinely because breastt cancer is real

Male gynaecologists simply do their jobs and the female clients they see simply let them do their jobs.
Most gynaecologists are professional and treat their clients that way though there may be few unprofessional ones.
In terms of seeing female bodies,do you know how many bodies you will see before you become a gynaecologist, including the ones you will see in the mortuary?Some doctors deliver babies with their husbands in the delivery room.At that point,I'm sure the safety of the baby and the mother is what is on the husband's mind and not the erotic things your mind is conjecting.

I had to sign up today just to share my experience and let you know it's real.50% of male doctors can't control themselves.so females should visit them in the company of friends if possible.
Even my friend that felt itches down there not long ago was told that they will need a swap to do a test and immediately she opened her legs for the doctor to collect it,his trouser became swollen and he started asking her out instantly.hmmm.i rest my case.
