A video of Donald Trump’s granddaughter singing in Mandarin has gone viral on Chinese social media at a time when people are also commenting about the US President’s failure to send official Lunar New Year greetings to China.

Donald Trump’s daughter Ivanka and her daughter, Arabella Kushner, attended a Chinese New Year celebration at the Chinese embassy in Washington on Wednesday.

Ivanka later posted a video of five-year-old Arabella singing and playing with a traditional Chinese puppet, much to the delight of Chinese social media users.
