cool #Freedom

... Rwanda is setting an example for the rest of the African countries. Its about time we drop the colonial legacy and go back to our roots. After all there is no European with an African name or African language as their official language.....Good job Rwanda, wake the rest of the sleeping countries up.

This is great development, if Rwanda still hold on that colonial tight with France, they would not have gone this far, France is evil blood suckered, they keep developing and building their country, But most Country they colonize are living in objective poverty, they dominated their entire existence. The African Union should rise and liberate the African from France and western imperialism.

For a country where almost entire citizens speak the same language it's very much welcomed.
For relevance in international affairs you'll find out their schools will still require the studying of those languages.
The question is will Nigeria accept Tiv or Ijaw as its official language. I'll say no way! So if you don't accept another's language they too won't accept yours. You see?
Except Nigeria split along the lines where people share say at least 90% commonalities in religion, culture, language etc so long will progress elude it considering the Africa man penchant to sentiments along those lines.

That said, language though is not really Nigeria's problem.

Have you ever been to the Northern school b4 ? They teach them using hausa. Have you also been to swizerland before ? they have 4 official languages.

Nigeria, we need at least four official languages and English to move to second place... I love what some banks are already doing when you call their customer care. This is to show to you the reality of things on ground.. GTB, FBN, i call them and I always choose only yoruba.
I even prefer to use Pidgin even more than the foolish foreign English..

Time for Western Nigeria to start using Yoruba as its official language and also be able to pass it on to the next generation..
The east too should start using Igbo.

WHat that does in general terms is promoting more of your own instead of that of foreign.. Just check it out. Your Lanuage is foreign, your religion is foreign and you expect your Economy to be good and independent when your way of reasoning and promoting that of foreign things is at high level. Many now complain of Dollar too high.. Do you know why ?? The reason is you, and it's the root cause... Just check the foolish ideology of going to saudi arabia that every muslim dreams to go and become one f*olish alhaji or id*otic alhaja.. Each spends nothing less than 1m.. That is direct or free tourism money for the sauds which is our existential threat.

Now check the Yoruba traditional religion where the Cubans,Brazilians, south Americans always come to for pilgrims. That is using tradition to generate income. While the Yoruba does the right thing, you carrying foreign religions do the opposite.

Its time to start promoting ourselves, our language, our tradition/culture so it will also attract others to visit but not the opposite all the time.

This is the way forward !
