@baakus
please as regard my answer on gift given to a lender, get it right it may not be encouraged if it is coming too often, because lending is not considered as a business transaction rather it is considered as a good deed as it relieves a Muslim from hardship.

The Excellence of giving Respite to One in Straitened Circumstance

Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) said,

"There was a trader who used to deal in credit with people. If he noticed one was in straitened circumstances he would tell his boy (working for him) excuse him so that Allah may overlook our shortcomings, and therefore , Allah overlooked (his sins) and forgave him.
Recorded by Bukhari.

The Prohibition of Deception

Abu Hurayrah narrated that one time the Prophet(sallallahu alaihi wassallam) passed by a man who was selling grains, the Prophet put his hand into the grains and he found that the seller was concealing a defect, the messenger of Allah (sallallahu alaihi wassallam) then said" whoever deceives us is not from us"
Sahih, see Shaykh al-Albaani Irwa al-Ghaleel no. 1319
