I remember the very first time I used a thermomerter for checking doneness temps..
People in my family were looking at me and asking WTF are you doing?

It was such a cool tool, almost better then tools to get the meat out of the pan.
I use one all the time now and honestly dont know if I could make an almost perfect roast without one..
Nothing I cook is perfect, but never had anyone complain unless it's an experiment

If I Happin to have RainRoosty over for dinner.. We are going to Taco Bell

I use a thermometer to check if my meat is ready, especially whole chicken or big chunks of meat in the oven. I also use it for frying chicken as I just started using this confit method for preparing my chicken.
