if your idea of "pray, fast and read scripture" constitute or is synonymous to physical injuries...then you have missed the point.......

Your faith promotes the "fear of a God" thereby encouraging you to live as slave of indoctrinations while freethinking encourages you to live freely and rationally which consequently brings you to a mature level where you live your life for the general good and being note considerate about the welbeing of humanity.
We live life every moment and live it to the fullest without any fear for "tomorrow we die" and so no regrets whatsoever. We are brave, and have conquered the fear of hell promoted by religion long ago.
So, I still don't see how the life of a religious folk will be better.
We have more non religious philanthropists than we have religious philanthropists. So, what's the advantage of being religious pls?
