Nigeria's WC 2010 Home Jersey Revealed by Iyineda(m): 2:36am On Dec 08, 2009 |
Hey guys, am I the only one who feels bummed about this? Just look at it (below); it pales in comparison to other countries' kits. Cameroon's Puma is by far the best kit in my eyes. Puma really did a great job. But if we stick to Adidas, Germany's, Japan's and even Greece's look fantastic, with the patterns and all. See other kits here --> http://www.prodirectsoccer.com/prodinfo.asp?PID=PDS-010-001-102&GROUP=WORLDCUP What do you guys think? Please tell me this is just a try-out version of what we're gonna get for SA 2010. *fingers crossed* |

Adidas always has simple designs im ok with that. . Check out all other Adidas jerseys. . very simple no frills, just country colours and adidas stripes. I dont like Cameroons designs to much too much effizy. Puma makes too much effizy sometimes. . . they will put puma logo and name front to back.I think they the ones that did Cameroons jersey when they they went with sleeveless shirts. This is cool, but i prefer the colour to be lime/light green as before, even cooler. |

I think this shirt looks too, generic. Yeah, it has that simple template-like feel to it. Just like Adidas telling NFF "oh, you guys get plain shirts this year because we now consider your side as a '2nd zone squad'". Ouch, Having those thoughts make my head hurt. Anywhooo, thanks for sharing your opinion, Singular. |

Re: Nigeria's WC 2010 Home Jersey Revealed by heyma: 2:34pm On Dec 08, 2009 |
I've always thought the eagle should be in red not green; It's gives a more aggressive and attractive touch to the logo; And the eagle on the ball out to be designed in a different way,(e.g larger eagle over the ball). That whole circle and NFA thing should be written in black. just my suggestion |

Re: Nigeria's WC 2010 Home Jersey Revealed by Nobody: 3:03pm On Dec 08, 2009 |
@ Iyineda Is it the attire that will make us carry the cup or the players' determination, and zealous attitude? By the way, what is wrong with the jersey? It looks good to me!!! |

Re: Nigeria's WC 2010 Home Jersey Revealed by delegiwa(m): 3:15pm On Dec 08, 2009 |
I prefer the Eagles to be naked and get to the 1/4 Finals and beyond than wear the best jersey and crash out during the group games. BTW, the jersey rocks. That reminds me of one (Igbo) song we used to sing during my childhood days when the next street boys will file out in fine jerseys and we will all burst out singing " Iche na jersey ga akuru gi ball?" |

Re: Nigeria's WC 2010 Home Jersey Revealed by Iyineda(m): 3:19pm On Dec 08, 2009 |
@ Iyineda What's your point? Did I ever mention in the OP that it's because of the plain jersey that Nigeria will fail to shine in the WC. No. I just find it too ordinary compared to other nations' jerseys (read OP again). And people, I'm not complaining. I just felt surprised and a lil disappointed when I first saw the kit. Nigeria is the only team sponsored by Adidas that doesn't have a customized pattern. Mexico, France, Danemark, Greece, Spain, Germany, South Africa, they all have some extra touch that makes it awesome and unique. I feel like Adidas just relegated us to the "Championship" of WC teams. |

tkb417: tkb417: What is so beautiful in Cameron jersey. Gosh Iyineda: Iyineda: Just too simple, no creativity at all, better still they should include the slogan " Good people Great Nation" . We should use the SE to re brand Nigeria I think the USA 94 jersey, and the jersey used when SE played in Wembley station still remains the best |
Re: Nigeria's WC 2010 Home Jersey Revealed by tkb417(m): 3:33pm On Dec 08, 2009 |
Vislabraye i didnt say the cameroon jersey is beautiful o i agree the USA 94 jersey was cool very cool |
