Tiwa Savage is arguably the biggest female musician out of Nigeria right now. She has conquered Nigeria and Africa, and feels she needs to take on the American market. She signed a management deal with Jay Z's Roc Nation Management last year, and I am guessing this collaboration was part of the fruits of that move.







During an interview of rap duo, Fat Joe and Remy Ma on the Breakfast Club Show (on Power 105.1 FM), Fat Joe was telling his hosts about what Remy Ma had been up to with her solo career, and he said...




"Rem working. She just did the single with Keisha Cole. She did the African chic. The biggest African chick in the world, she's..she's featured on her joint."











One of the radio hosts, Angela Yee then asks Remy Ma what the African chick's name is, and Rem said...

"Umm! Tiwa. Savage."

And then Fat Joe continued...

"Tiwa Savage. She's huge yo! She's like the African Rihanna type. You know. She's big." (Fat Joe and Remy Ma Interview on the Breakfast Club Show)


Fat Joe and Remy Ma also signed management deals with Roc Nation a couple of weeks back, so this collaboration makes sense. No word out yet when the song will be dropping, all we know is that it is a Tiwa Savage song featuring Remy Ma, and it would likely drop in a few weeks time.
