What shall it profit a man to spend so much in marrying girls of this generation that can never be loyal.
I don't think there is need for this kind of big wedding in this generation, where women are only after the wealth and if things change the same women will move out of the marriage.

On the contrary, I call for more of these kinds of wedding ceremonies. Do you know how much has exchanged hands? People employed? The baker, painter, decorator, hotels, events planner(s), tailor etc have gained tremendously from just a day's event. And that has "epped" their ministry and economy. For Nigeria to get out of recession, we should spend more - locally - no matter how small.

Events like these is why I call for the government to declare Valentine's Day a public holiday. I know what the hospitality industry gained in that day.
