In reaction to GANI MUHAMMED AJOWA's post dated 16th February, 2017 in which he alleged Professor Igbekele Ajibefun, a man of history whose mouth-watering and landmark achievements in the history of tertiary education system in Ondo State, in both Federal and State owned institutions, have experienced sporadic developments, to have ruined Rufus Giwa Polytechnic, Owo (RUGIPO) and Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba-Akoko (AAUA) financially, DON NAVIGATOR INITIATIVES write to debunk the news a total lie aimed at tarnishing the good image of the Vice Chancellor and and an attempt to cause mayhem in the school.

It is true that the management purchase three cars which is mean to to be distributed for three principal officers: registrar, bursar and librarian, and this was approved by the University Senate last year but the cars could not be given to the prospective users because the insurance policy of the cars had not been completed. These cars are what this pathetic Lying Muhammed called 'parting gift' for the highly esteemed Vice Chancellor.

It is pertinent to affirm here that Mr. Gani Muhammed Ajowa is a wailing APC apologist and a god-forsaken propagandist who has come in the order of his boss LIE MUHAMMED to use cheap propaganda to distract Ogbeni ROTIMI AKEREDOLU for noticing the good works of the Vice Chancellor who has elevated Ondo State to greater heights. He also tends to rubbish his effort just as he has always done to PDP appointees who has done his best for the good of Ondo State both home and abroad.

History has it that IGBEKELE AJIBEFUN transformed RUGIPO from a living dead institution into a 21st Century Polytechnic, properly called. Assessing his academic, infrastructural and administrative feats in these institutions he has served, is second to none but to the suprise of all right thinking human beings, some good-for-nothing individuals somewhere said he has ruined the school. What a stinking statement is that! The question that is begging for answer here is IN WHAT ASPECT HAS HE RUINED RUGIPO? Can this LIE MUHAMMED incarnate provide convincing facts to prove his allegations?

Ajowa alleged that Ajibefun purchased a SUV ( Jeep) worth of N45m for himself as a parting gift from office as the Rector of RUGIPO and another one for Hon. Alaba Ojomo from Owo as "shutup" package, and that he has allegedly acquired a few cars of N100m for himself as parting gift. All these are allegations borne out of malice so that the in-coming Governor will see him (AJIBEFUN) as a bad egg and therefore relieve him of his appointment as the Vice Chancellor of the school with the view to considering his own candidate.

In the same vein, he pointed to the fact that Prof. Ajibefun was a principal witness against late Dr. Agagu at the Nabaruma Tribunal in 2007 and that he witnessed for Dr. Segun Mimiko in his capacity as a political boy of Prof. Femi Mimiko. Before his death, did Dr. Segun Agagu debunk the testimonies of Ajibefun as being false? Or has the dead told the living a true lie about the popular tale of DR. SEGUN AGAGU STOLEN MANADATE SAGA OF 2007?

Let Gani Muhammed Ajowa tell us who is more qualified than Professor IGBEKELE AJIBEFUN among those who vied for the office of AAUA VC to justify his claim that AJIBEFUN's testimonial role eventually earned him the Rector of the polytechnic against every known tradition of the school when Dr. Mimiko took over power from Agagu in 2009.

I enjoin this political halleluyah boy to go home, look for a better and well coordinated propaganda against the professor and not this empty message of no societal value.

However, if he feels insulted or factual, let him bring the video that captures the SUV Jeep transaction and copies of the particulars he (AJIBEFUN) used to purchase the allegedly bought Jeep. Failure to do this within the next seven (7) days means that he is an incurable liar and DON NAVIGATOR INITIATIVES will not hesitate to take him up and expose all his filthy garment for the whole world to see. The game starts now!
