This world is a very funny place to live in. When people get tired or bored in their life, they look for someone to blame or pull a feat that will earn them cheap popularity.

Events from man's history has shown how man took even animals to court and tried them like humans. It will interest you to know that people have gone to an extra mile as to file a lawsuit against God.

There are quite a handful lawsuits that have been filed against God but here are three that caught my attention.

1. God sued over lightning

In 1970, a lightning struck the house of Betty Penrose and destroyed everything she owned. She filled a lawsuit against God for not protecting her house against the lightning. She went ahead to claim $100,000 in damages.

She won the case since God could not appear in court but people are still not aware if she received payment or not.

2. God duped him

In October 2005, a man named Ria Novosti filled a lawsuit against God for letting him be a murderer. Based on his story, his baptism was a contract under which he was to be protected from the devil.

While filing the lawsuit, this was what he said:
"God received different material valuables from me as well as prayers in exchange for a promise of a better life. In reality, this did not happen. I found myself in the hands of the devil instead".

The case was dismissed because God could not appear in court and did not send a lawyer to represent him.

3. God causing natural disasters

In 2008, Ernie Chambers, a U.S senator filled a lawsuit against God for causing natural disasters. According to him, God's harmful activities need to be checked and stopped.

The case was dismissed because God could not be notified of the lawsuit due to the fact that he had multiple home addresses.

Try this in a Nigerian Court and Lightning would strike the Plaintiffs immediately and magically too.

God could not appear in court

God could not be notified of the lawsuit due to the fact that he had multiple home addresses

Even a 5 year old will marvel at the stupidity of adults who believe in and worship this kind of character undecided
