FOUNDER'S EXECUTIVE SPEECH

With the utmost reverence, I being founder of World Institute for Peace (WIP), Nigeria urges to say that the Earth is the most beautiful planet ever created in the universe, but Since the World War 1st its numerous residents have been killed with the un-natural devices. History shows that human blood has been constantly shed for centuries in the name tribe, region, colour, religion, country and ideology and in the near future there seems to be no interval. Presence of atomic, nuclear and chemical weapons on the Erath, avarice of the developed countries to usurp natural sources without sharing anyone, have increase manifold odium among the nations. I many times in a day ponder whether with the present working of peace maintaining organizations will put the world in perfect concord or not unluckily each time I get the response in negation.

In pretext of eliminating terrorism, universal terrorism itself is in full bloom. For the several years I have been thinking how one nation is given the right to define terrorism in accordance to her own likes and interests. Many questions upsurge in my mind and keep me perturbed, a few I want to share with you:

Is Man after going through diminutive wars heading to some massive conflict of civilizations?
How much distant is the Third World War?
Does United Nations exist, if yes it works whom for?
When will change the paralyzed thinking to keep peace through war?
Can the future of seven billion people be entrusted to extensionalists, traders of war, warriors and enemies of the humanity?
When a small quantity of warriors will learn to respect sentiments of the billions of peace lovers?
A country that herself is heaping up dangerous and fatal weapons, on which principle she imposes restrictions upon others?
Can the fatal weapons scattered all over the world be destroyed voluntarily?
Is defence of any country possible only through fatal weapons?
Can the scientists and the warriors morally be made bound not to use the fatal weapons against the innocent?
Should we form an opinion that there is no one to wrench the wrist of universal villains drunk in pride of power?
My last question whether after eliminating this world of cruelty, exploitation, poverty, fatal weapons, the world littered with blood, do we have the courage to rebuild it on the basis of justice?

How strange it is that Soviet Union has been disbanded but her great army is still present. The Socialist Block has dispersed but NATO still exists more influential than ever it had been. The Wall of Berlin has been demolished but many walls have emerged in our hearts. Our currencies are merging into one but the coins of our hearts are growing rusty. On one side there are the dialogues to remove the boundaries but on the other side new fences in hearts are being fixed. On one side there are the efforts to bring into harmony old and outlandish civilizations and on the other side the world is being pushed on the track of civilizational conflicts. On one side the desire to come close has made the world a global village, but on the other side intimacy has engendered a new sense of incongruity. I think wars will remain the fate of humanity till armies and weapons exist. This creeping era will have been lifting up its head in us and construction of the world as prosperous, considerate, secure, commendable and free of hatred will remain a dream.

Terrorism is perforating our souls; this violence is blackening our faces, this violence is assassinating identity of human friendship. Original thoughts of pacifists are not being conveyed to the world, and the world does not have access to great traditions. We believe in human companionship, we have odium against war and extremism, we require love and peace for the world and ourselves.

In the universe explored up till now, the Earth is the sole planet where life is found possible but on account increasing warfare, the future of humanity seems here uncertain. Even being a planet, future of the earth is not bright. It is my heartiest desire that we should learn how to live on the Earth with peace or we should leave the battlefield of the Earth for warriors and traders of weapons and get ourselves inhibited on any other planet. I yearn that we should make a selection either of the Moon, or Mars or Europa as our home with the condition that warriors and fatal weapons will not be allowed to enter into our new world. But in the spectrum of current prevailing circumstances, it is imminent that we shall become fuel of war along with this unusual beautiful dream. Being an optimist I am hopeful that my dream shall get place in eyes of the descending generations.

Today Man is spending more than five thousand billion dollars annually on manufacturing the fatal weapons whereas the expenditure incurring on wars are separate from those being incurred on production of the weapons. If we spend on welfare and betterment of humanity the huge amount that we
