Deuteronomy 34:1 And Moses went up from the plains of Moab unto the mountain of Nebo, to the top of Pisgah, that is over against Jericho. And the LORD shewed him all the land of Gilead, unto Dan,

Deuteronomy 34:2 And all Naphtali, and the land of Ephraim, and Manasseh, and all the land of Judah, unto the utmost sea,

Deuteronomy 34:3 And the south, and the plain of the valley of Jericho, the city of palm trees, unto Zoar.

Deuteronomy 34:4 And the LORD said unto him, This is the land which I sware unto Abraham, unto Isaac, and unto Jacob, saying, I will give it unto thy seed: I have caused thee to see it with thine eyes, but thou shalt not go over thither.

Deuteronomy 34:5 So Moses the servant of the LORD died there in the land of Moab, according to the word of the LORD.

Deuteronomy 34:6 And he buried him in a valley in the land of Moab, over against Bethpeor: but no man knoweth of his sepulchre unto this day.

Deuteronomy 34:7 And Moses was an hundred and twenty years old when he died: his eye was not dim, nor his natural force abated.

Deuteronomy 34:8 And the children of Israel wept for Moses in the plains of Moab thirty days: so the days of weeping and mourning for Moses were ended.

The Christian theology conclude that this very chapter of the book of Deuteronomy, was written by Joshua.

But in an attempt to create an indefensible mystery around Yahweh and his followers, the burial ground of Moses is said to be unknown.

This puerile claim is busted in the very 6 above;

Deuteronomy 34:6 And he (Lord) buried him in a valley in the land of Moab, over against Bethpeor:

The author of this chapter (Joshua) did see the Lord bury Moses, at this precisely described location.

If not, Joshua wouldn't have been able to document it as such.
But just in the same verse, where Joshua described a precise location, that Moses was buried, Joshua immediately contradicted himself by saying the sentence below;

but no man knoweth of his sepulchre unto this day.

* Is Joshua not a man?

* If he's, then he knew where Moses was buried.

* since Joshua too must have servants, that go round with him, they too would have seen the grave of Moses.

This is another confirmation of how badly written, the fictitious story book (Bible) is.

This is very simple.

Moses went up on a mountain and never came back, he died there. Joshua had an idea of his movement to the mountain and where the mountain was. The fact that Moses didn't come back and none saw his grave proves that Joshua himself or any other person knew not where Moses was buried. Therefore Joshua was right to say no one knew his grave.

You are dead wrong to conclude Joshua knew where Moses was buried because he gave account of his dead and burial.

Hmmmmmm.......... You religious folks are just in deadly love, with consciously acquired illusionary syndrome - CAIS.

If joshua didn't see, how did he then gave a precise landmark description?

I told you Joshua must have had an idea of where Moses went, which he never came back. Joshua might have probably gone to search for him and couldn't find him, hence he said "no one knew where Moses was buried".

The verse below isn't written in German or Latin oooo

Deuteronomy 34:6 And he buried him in a valley in the land of Moab, over against Bethpeor: but no man knoweth of his sepulchre unto this day
.

Eg........ And the Lord buried Moses under Oshodi bridge in the land of Oshodi, over looking ilu-peju: but i wouldn't say no man can locate this landmark.

Still simple.

They knew the location Moses went and died and they believed he was buried in the same location but no one saw his grave.

Joshua didn't go with Moses but he knew where he went. It is reasonable for him to believe he had died and buried since he couldn't see him or his grave. Should he have said he saw the grave when he didn't?

Please note that at that time, Joshua was not an ordinary man. He was full of knowledge. He was in the position to know things extraordinarily.

And Joshua the son of Nun was full of the spirit of wisdom; for Moses had laid his hands upon him: and the children of Israel hearkened unto him, and did as the LORD commanded Moses (Deut.34:9)

If you know that Moses went the direction of the under bridge of Oshodi, in Oshodi and adjacent ilupeju.

* you don't need to BELIEVE Moses died there.

* you can KNOW Moses died there, since you know the exact location Moses went.

* all you need do is go to the location and confirm evidentially.

*Assuming you are right, did Joshua go to the this location and didn't see the grave?

* or Joshua still just BELIEVED that he won't find the grave?

*Are you saying that holy ghost told Joshua, the exact words of verse 6?

* or Joshua wrote what he saw?

Wait...
I thought he was writing through divine inspiration? So because, according to you, Joshua went in search of Moses but couldn't find him, he assumed that Moses had died. And when he couldn't find neither the corpse nor the grave, he assumed the Lord must have buried him and his the grave from man. What if he was wrong? What if Moses, like Elijah, rode into heaven on a chariot of fire? What if he also walked with God into heaven like Enoch? What if he just vanished into thin air? What if...
