Osogbo Business School is an SME training School that seeks to raise a generation of young business leaders who can start and effectively manage innovative Small and Medium Enterprise (SME) businesses in Osun State. We seek to create a newer, private and youth-dependent avenue for job creation via SME developments in Osun State while also continually help existing young business owners develop their business management capacities for greater success.

Our belief as an evolving business training institution is to first create a great network of Small and Medium Enterprise (SME) Business Owners who would become the nucleus of business development in Osogbo and Osun State.

So, we present this golden opportunity for thirty (30) young entrepreneurs drawn across Osun State to receive adequate training on how to start and effectively manage their own businesses.

Our lecture content for this training course includes:

a. Engaging and Broadening the Mind for Business Success
b. Business Idea Development and Analysis
c. Enterprise-wide feasibility study and proposal development
d. Sole Proprietorship Skills
e. Investible Grants, Credits and Loan Sourcing
f. Business Competition and Negotiation Skills
g. SME Finance Management
h. Strategic Business Management and Leadership of Business Systems
i. Digital Marketing and Effective use of social media

These course elements will not only be lectures, but they will immediately be followed by assessment tests that will seek to help trainees discover how strongly they have assimilated the lessons in each course element. At the end of this training programme, participants will then be issued Certificates of Completion that will in future be publicly acceptable once our courses are standardized and accredited.

For each course element, prolific trainers who are authorities in their fields will be on hand to impart knowledge and mentor the trainees where possible.

WHO CAN ATTEND?

Participants will be drawn across the 30 Local Governments of Osun State. Registration is open to all interested entrepreneurs. Upon completion of registration, we will make a shortlist and contact those persons whose registrations have been approved. We will hope to select one person per Local Government.

WHEN IS THE TRAINING COURSE?

The course will hold between 3rd - 8th April, 2017. Details (Brochure, Facilitator profile, Training tags etc) will be sent to successful applicants once the shortlist has been concluded.

COST OF TRAINING

This one-week course being the first session of Osogbo Business School is aimed at raising the first 30 business owners in Osun State, FREE OF CHARGE! We see this as our first Social Responsibility to our host State.
