Today, Solomon reveals to you the value of wisdom. According to him, wisdom is one of the most valuable gifts on earth. But there is a condition you must meet before you can get this valuable gift. The condition is that you must desire her, then search for her. Once you find her, she will be with you in your every thought.

Solomon also wishes to share his wisdom with you. According to him before you can garn more wisdom you must be ready to share the ones you have with everyone around you. That is to say, you must be self-centered. He also tells you the story of how he desired and found wisdom.

Solomon also advices kings to realize that they are just like anyone else. They were born and brought up like anyone else. And will also leave the word like anyone else. Solomon realized this fact as a king and it helped him to find wisdom. When Solomon realized that he was only a human, he declared his love for wisdom, he prayed and received wisdom and understanding. According to Solomon, wisdom is incomparable, not even gold, precious jewels or good health can be compared with wisdom. When he received wisdom, she brought all other forms of wealth to him.

Solomon tried to define the nature of wisdom, but could not find words that could perfectly qualify her. Of all Solomon’s definition of wisdom, the most suiting one is that wisdom is a reflection of eternal light, a perfect mirror of God’s activity and greatness.
Solomon fell in love with the beauty of wisdom as a man falls in love with her wife. All his desire was to be welded to wisdom. According to Solomon, all virtues re the results of the works of wisdom. After Solomon fell in love with wisdom, he prayed to God and God granted his request.

THE VALUE OF WISDOM (6.12 -6.21)
12 Wisdom is radiant and unfading, and she is easily discerned by those who love her, and is found by those who seek her.
13 She hastens to make herself known to those who desire her.
14 One who rises early to seek her will have no difficulty, for she will be found sitting at the gate.
15 To fix one's thought on her is perfect understanding, and one who is vigilant on her account will soon be free from care,
16 because she goes about seeking those worthy of her, and she graciously appears to them in their paths, and meets them in every thought.
17 The beginning of wisdom is the most sincere desire for instruction, and concern for instruction is love of her,
18 and love of her is the keeping of her laws, and giving heed to her laws is assurance of immortality,
19 and immortality brings one near to God;
20 so the desire for wisdom leads to a kingdom.
21 Therefore if you delight in thrones and scepters, O monarchs over the peoples, honor wisdom, so that you may reign forever.

SOLOMON WISHES TO SHARE HIS WISDOM (6.22-6.25)
22 I will tell you what wisdom is and how she came to be, and I will hide no secrets from you, but I will trace her course from the beginning of creation, and make knowledge of her clear, and I will not pass by the truth;
23 nor will I travel in the company of sickly envy, for envy does not associate with wisdom.
