Why Amaju Pinnick Must Win CAF Executive Member Election. by oyeniyi10(m): 4:23pm On Feb 25, 2017
Personally, I want Amaju Pinnick to win as 'Nigeria project', in the next month CAF executive membership election slotted to West Africa, if not for anything but for Anjorin Moucharafa (the incumbent CAF member ) calling NFF President a 'small boy' and that he defeated former NFF chairman Aminu Maigari.
Though, Amaju Pinnick shouldn't have announced on CNN that Nigeria is routing for Ahmad Ahmad, the Madagascar FA president who is contesting against the incumbent CAF president Issa Hayatou, without the consent of his superior the sports minister Solomon Dalung. Such decision should have been kept close to his chest.
The following day, the minister of youth and sports, Dalung said, Nigeria has not taken any position on the CAF presidency election in a press statement.
Definitely, because Pinnick fails to carry him along. NFF is answerable to ministry of sports and thus, Amaju should forget about the misunderstanding between the two of them and should have a close door meeting with him so that both of them can agree to work together for ( Nigeria) Amaju to win in the election.
They should be more concerned about the consequence of both Amaju and Ahmad loosing in the election on Nigeria.
