Honestly and in all fairness to those of us waiting for the commencement of the second batch of the Npower program; I would say that, they have not been fair to us. This is a program that was thrown opened for registration in June 2016 and it took Npower 6month (December 2016) to kick-start the first phase of the program. Furthermore, March is just around the corner and this would mean another four month in-wait for the highly anticipated flagging off of the second phase.

Personally, I don’t wait on government or anyone to survive as I can design websites and I have my laptop to carry out what I know how to do best. However, the current economic reality and a drastic drop in the patronage of my service have forced me to look forward to this program as a suppliment to meet up.

Government must realize that it’s really tough out there and the worst thing that can happen to any graduate during this recession is to be jobless or have no means of income. They really need to step in with this program as quickly as possible so our youths can earn something legitimately to survive. Other young Nigerians can also have the opportunity to register again.

I could vividly remember when the Employment and Information Ministers in a townhall meeting in December 2016 both stated that, the second phase of the Npower program would commence in January or February. Government really needs to match words with action on this as I believe I’m really speaking the minds of hundreds of thousand young graduates out there that are becoming seemingly frustrated and impatience with our government. This is the only visible welfare package we can relate with from the federal government at the moment. Please, don’t frustrate us on this.

PLEASE, GOVERNMENT SHOULD DO THE NEEDFUL ON THIS QUICKLY. IT’S NO LONGER FUNNY!!!.

ATS COMPLIANT CV
Are you having problems of not being invited or shortlisted for any job interview despite the numerous applications you have been submitting and yet not a single invitation for an interview?. Well it is important to inform you that the reason why you were not successful is mainly because your CV is not ATS compliant. An ATS (Applicants Tracking System) is an automated machine just like ATM (automated teller machine) that handles many transactions for larger number of users on behalf of the bank, so also is ATS that handles millions of CVs on behalf of the human resource officers that could have been impossible for them to handle manually millions of CVs brought to their desk. The ATS has a standard format and any CV that does not comply with its format is deleted by the machine. And this is why most applicants fail to be shortlisted after submitting their applications, only those who are aware of this machine and its format get shortlisted for interview. To help most applicants succeed, I am generously giving away two copies containing the ATS format and guidelines at a cheap price of N1000 for the first 200 people to request. Please note that after the first 200 people I will stop selling. To get the two copies, send me a mail to chidinmaonwuk@gmail.com and I will acquaint you. Once payment is verified, I will immediately send you the two copies to your mailbox.

My brother you nailed it. I really don't know what's with this government, they have really not been fair at all. It is not just Npower second batch that has been on the wait. Take a look at the federal civil service recr
uitment, The Nigeria railway corporation recruitment, Abuja electricity distribution company; all these were carried out last year and up till this moment, nothing has been heard. I would suggest everyone anticipating the second phase of the npower should let's make use the power of social media. We can bombard their Facebook page with messages and also twit at their Twitter handle.
#whereisnpowersecondphase?
