9jakohai: Hello! The environment already has all you need to innovate. What he did is just a substandard counterfeit that is badly designed, void of innovation and meaningless. Call a spade, a spade. Its an outdated tech. I believe he can do better than the junk he posed with if guided. |

This is a raw talent. Fayose prove to us by helping to develop this raw talent at ur backyard, anything short of this make u an empty noise maker. |

Doubt if the Goverment or the private sector in this country would do some thing, by showing some sense of appreciation. During my sec school days i've represented my state in science project exibitions three consecutive times and who e epp? You only get discouragements in this country as an inventor nothing more. |

Nt again, Wat do we celebrate sef? Ds ain't an innovation naa. disassembling an already made electrical devices and assembling in a different form isn't innovation. 1 Like

logica: I don't know what you are up to but the below excerpt should keep you grounded for a few hours bro "Electronics is the science of controlling electrical energy electrically, in which the electrons have a fundamental role. Electronics deals with electrical circuits that involve active electrical components such as vacuum tubes, transistors and diodes " 1 Like |

While I commend what this guy did, many people do not understand the meaning of words -GENIUS. Disassembling and assembling electronics is what many kids out there do. I have seen a kid who designed and assembled a car using old bathroom slippers, motors and batteries. Our kids have passion for electronics, but they are not encouraged. I read an article that says Chinese children start making radios when they are 8. 1 Like |

9jakohai: So you actually call that junk an invention . Anybody can create a substandard like for like tech if willing. If you read clearly what I stated earlier, the world has moved pass developing substandard prototype. |

EvangelistNdudi: Thank you evangelist, truth is always bitter, when you limit yourself to assembling different other products when will you think of inventing anything? |

Odkosh:Most of you ignoramus think everybody is like you, using physics textbook, principles of physics, I built a receiver radio, with scrap, soldering iron pieces of wire, because you are an under achiever doesn't mean everybody else is You can lick your wounds now Byee |

9jakohai: So pointing out that the "invention" is actually not an invention but a copulation of parts: fabrication. I particularly hate when you are not allowed to say the truth in peace without being accused of being jealous. The guy has potential, yes, but that piece of scrap he put together cannot help him or the government . When I saw an invention by a guy in Lagos (a car that could navigate water bodies) I yelled my head off when the government refused to reply or help the guy. fast forward two years, and the same unattractive but ingenious work he did has been reproduced outside and sold for 1.5milla a unit. let him face his education, study more physics and probably go to a university of Technology with the obvious talent he has, and he has a shot at being the next hot thing. This stuff he did will get him nowhere, trust me, I have seen such first-hand |

Iamwrath:lol, receiver radio my foot. someone who has done little thing will appreciate what others has done. you can build anything on nairaland for yourself. we are on nairaland. you are talking to a design engineer with certificate in welding inspection which I got in India as a certified welding inspector working with Siemens. learn to appreciate others, don't come here to spew rubbish. like I said, you are irrelevant in this matter. backward ppl. |

Just see the number of people celebrating this garbage. We can't be a superpower by piecing together scraps while we still import toothpicks. If it is not an individual building a wooden car, it would be a person building an aeroplane that would and can never fly. Yet, all these are evidences of an average Nigerian's love for mediocrity. For how can a people look at this junk and be glad about it? |

Odkosh: Shut up, my friend!!! Ever been to a science fair project for kids, even in India? If you have, you will never tell me to be happy about this typical bullshit!!! We must not encourage our kids to disassemble stuffs merely to rebuild those things. We must encourage them to think big. You think out of the box. I have a cousin who is only seven and he is already talking about stuffs in future infrared technology. How about that? |

EvangelistNdudi:lol did u even view the pics? he put an already made transistor radio inside a paint plastic, then put 3 rechargeable lights. 2 on the side, 1 on top, and added 1 speaker outside. it's like you buying garri, sugar and groundnut and putting 3 of them separately inside bread nylon and someone saying you produced them and I should clap for you. if he had even package it superbly, I for gree, but inside paint bucket? please, it's nothing!!! |
