Whenever a question arises as to the existence
or otherwise of God, i ask the questioner one
thing only. Who, or what created the stuff that
the big bang banged?
Not had a proper science based answer yet but
lots who deny the existence of a creator fall into
an embarrassed silence (and not at the question
I might add). |

BACK TO MY JESUS Strangely, there is no reference anywhere in the Bible to any physical characteristics: height, complexion, hair, anything. And Atheists has interpreted this as Consistent with He not having existed. So what I represented here is based on conventional imagery and a sprinkling of my imagination. Rendered in Blender Cycles. its good to question aspects of ur faith....it helps to be more grounded. AND I think There are abundant historical references leave us with little reasonable doubt that Jesus lived and died. The more interesting question – which goes beyond history and objective fact – is whether Jesus died and lived. I believe He did. Happy Easter everyone.....time to do the Resurrection scene. Rocks and empty tomb and of course a burial shroud lying askance. Remeber this is a Season of notin but forgiveness.....Its super hard to forgive, yours truly always fight not to, but If He did, we Christians should

So for the first quarter of this year, i ve just achieved three xters (just 3...imagine) one xter per month. Well, I am mastering my lane. i ve suddenly developed an immense liking for Skin shaders. Its almost orgasmic. When i plug them nodes, i feel relax and oblivious to Nigeria and her stup.id wahalas. I ve been relieved of my job, they r blaming recession...I want to be depressed but my spirit fails to. Instead i am chaneling much energy to my 3D. Anyone should employ me, please...i ve neva known joblessness

Wallowing in self pity wont do me much good..... So i have planned a cat since Monday. Who doesnt want to own a big cat? Softwares in use for this viz: Zbrush (all modeling and normal baking). i am still battling normal map issues when i transfer my Normals from Zbru to Blender bae. Blender (Hair, Shaders, Rocks borrowed from supposed Jesus tomb, Rendering and texturing) NO Substance painter...who can paint cats fur with hand? i doubt. Maya...a very basic quadruped rig. I ve noticed that i just do silly rigs. I really should put more effort in to building animation ready rigs.

nijabazaar:Creating a xter rig isnt much of a big deal. Customising it to beat animation time is d problem n dats if u know how to animate. A lot of ppl come out here n talk abt rigs n how super they r but d truth is dat, very basic rigs will do just fine for thr projects. My recent animation project is done with d cat rig n so wi d last 3 or 4 n i've gotta tell ya... They r quite gud. Unless u r doing something like a dance animation dat relies on many body movements, just keep it simple. My thought tho. |
Re: My Cabinet Of 3D Curiosities by nijabazaar: 5:50pm On Apr 20, 2017 |
reidkrugger: I saw demo rigs online, esp those by the vfx studio Whispering Tree...itx always intimidating. Ik and fk conversions. I want my rigs to have that kinda flexibilities. Sure, riggin x not enjoyable but if one aims to be professional - u have no choice than to stick to the menu. I guess for them to take time to make those pliable rigs means itx a prerequisite for the animators. I called them Silly rigs cos to me (i am not an animator anyway) it seems they r just good for posing and not much good if an animator should use it. |

Re: My Cabinet Of 3D Curiosities by reidkrugger(m): 8:16pm On Apr 20, 2017 |
Yeah i've seen rigs lk dat too online bt never bothered how to use dem. One particular type was "rig-omatic". They really looked gud wi thr controls n stuff. Again, ppl always talk abt calculating ik n fk solvers n i ask dem wat it is they calculating. I hv never calculated jack abt dem solvers in all my life. Not even a script. If u udrstnd locals n worlds, position n orientation constraints, then doz 2 shldnt b mch of a problem. For d xter body, its best to use d spline type ik solvers. Tho dats in 3dsmax. Wi dat dude alone u can wiggle d waist, rock it etc without shakin d upper body significantly givin u all d flexibility u need. |

Re: My Cabinet Of 3D Curiosities by OKX(m): 9:33am On Apr 26, 2017 |
Kool. Whatever inspires u to model is OK as long as u overcome new challenges in d process. I would however try to have a focus or larger goal to the process, such as creating different categories of models that I could also upload to specific sites, both for paid downloads and to increase ur online digital rep. U never know who's monitoring out there. |
Re: My Cabinet Of 3D Curiosities by nijabazaar: 2:57pm On Apr 26, 2017 |
OKX: OK, thank, I will try to focus in broad strokes. Meanwhile, i dumped the dyntopo method for this zsphere thingy. I decide to make sure the chreature is properly posed before sculpting. I dont want to go allover with Maya's tedious rigging for this project. I wish there's an AI solution of sorts that just understands your mesh's topology and instantly rigs it for you without you indicating any input. Silicon Valley wont look into those kinda problems but if its for a simple task they would provide an over-engineered solution to a problem that isn't really a problem

Re: My Cabinet Of 3D Curiosities by OKX(m): 10:18pm On Apr 26, 2017 |
@nija There are actually both scripts and sites that autorig various model types (bipeds and quadrupeds), and the criteria u have to follow are largely simple. U can explore Adobe's mixamo. |
Re: My Cabinet Of 3D Curiosities by nijabazaar: 10:20pm On Apr 29, 2017 |
@OKX, I will check them. Apart from Mixamo, is there any one you can point me too. The free ones that is I just found this work. Totally inspiring. Tonite, I am rounding off slabs of Muscle for my Orc. Tomorrow would have to be the Face. Of all body parts, I like the face/head alot. I can spend a week finessing a face. I don't know why.

Nice so far. Waiting to see d final render. Can't contribute much tho, as there's no concept art, so don't know where ur headed. I would have slightly shortened the arms, but again, that might be the deliberate look u r gunning for. Following tho...good start! |
Re: My Cabinet Of 3D Curiosities by nijabazaar: 11:44am On May 08, 2017 |
OKX: Thankie very much. I have sometin to tell u. I cant hold it any longer Guys, I'd something extra ordinary. Earth shattering and super dope. I SOLD MY VERY FIRST MODEL on this thread. Though it was a very decimated version of it but someone out there on Shapeways like it and asked for it. I ve neva been this happy Anyways , it was just $50 but then fr someone who x looking for an avenue to make money with his skillset....thats a start. The Long journey began with me opening a shop on Shapeways, Decimating most of my models and scaling them down to 3D printable sizes. I mean it was a plus for me too, I didnt have to border about texturing, just decimate, adjust topology, indicate the material color on Shapeways and put it on ur store.....Some white nigger or babe will definitely come along. If only, I can delve into electrical & iphone casing modeling, I heard its the most popular item to earn quick cash. But one thing I also learnt x that action figurines and baby dinosaurs are also becoming trends. Thank God, I am a Xter artist. SO All yea, 3D artist on this Art thread, open a shop on Shapeways or Sculpteo ( iam there too) and start selling your stuff to the Europeans. One thing that also sells is abstract shapes like Snail shells, Cuneiforms 1 Like

great bro! real proud of u. there will b increasing demand for ur models so pls dont let up!! |
Re: My Cabinet Of 3D Curiosities by nijabazaar: 7:35pm On May 08, 2017 |
Thanks...U r a backbone. Ok, When money comes, you become super motivated. Since this month I spend just ten minutes or 20 per day on Zbrush/Blender and I was usually morose and uninspired and watching lots of film but after gettin this alert., I ve doubled the hrs spent sketching. Today i rounded up the hind quarters and i will do the toes when Dear Phcn release the light. I have heard of guys who do two models per day and I am wondering when I will reach that level of inspiration. First the Chicken. I have given this guy a name Incubi Chicken. I'd also adjust the length of the arms a bit.

My little Incubus Chicken is gradually taking shape and had signed a contract with a modeling Firm. Watch out for him in Vogue or Vanity fair. A little bio on Incubus Chicken He was found along an estuary near the banks of River Omambala. A three yr old, abandoned intersex heterodont. We discovered that the morphology is well suited for wading via swamps and estuaries (hence, the specimen's almost webbed feet) but can easily adapt to terrestrial habitats though. High Cranium suggests an above par intelligence for the rest of he/she/it's species (mind u , the specimen is intersex) but Incubus Chicken is an Idiot Savant. Excellent with complex binary calculations but cant differentiate between primary and secondary colors. And he/she/it is always afraid of ultra violet light. His/Her/it's eye sight is much keener at night than the daytime. Incubus Chicken also could develop multiple personalities when it comes to role play. Diet IC is an Omnivore and likes Children. We have subjected IC to mainly vegetarian food with an occassional Liver thrown in. The Burundian govt is keen on signing in on as the official 'Criminal Corpse Eater' (it could mean lots of much needed cash for us) but we are still indecisive on IC taken that role.
