*EXAMINATION IS AN ART*

In the educational setting, examination has been the means of assessing students and grading them based on their 'performance.'

To some students, they enjoy examination while for many, it should be scrapped. The latter category of students even curse the Chinese for inventing examination.

However, students will begin to enjoy exams when they start seeing it as an art. It is an art because it needs, preparation (reading your books), proper organisation and presentation.

Just like any artist considers his audience, an examination writer (an artist in this sense) must consider his audience (teachers/lecturers) in the performance of this art so as to know what they want and give it to them when writing.

Take your time, conceive what you want to write in an exam, arrange the thoughts in an embellished manner, and give a performance that your lecturer will appreciate and fall in love with.

In the case of football, Arsène Wenger says, "Football is an art, like dancing is an art - but only when it is well done does it become an art." The same thing applies to an examination. It becomes an enjoyable art when the questions are answered well.

My prayer for you is that the midnight oil you have burnt in the preparation for the performance of this art will never be in vain. I wish you success as you write your exams. See you at the TOP!
