A companion in that day and time would have been the same thing as wife.

Da Vinci's creation of the Last Supper further supports the fact that Jesus was closely linked to Mary.
The person to his right, is obviously a woman, if you take other works of Da Vinci and compare them to this painiting, the figure has very faminine attributes.
Anyways what are views on this, is it possible that Jesus Christ had children, and if so how would this impact the way we view Christianity?

Why would anyone believe what someone says hundreds of years after an event more than what contemporaries that lived and ate with the person in concern, as eye-witnesses, wrote about him?  We are in the last days!

Jesus Christ did not marry, not to talk of having biological childrren.  To suggest Mary was his girlfriend is an inspiration from the pit of hell.  I wish this thread will die here, now!

Come to think of it, though he had no children biologically, anyone that believes and receives him becomes his child.  This is the gospel!  Hear what it says in John 1 vs 12:

But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, [even] to those who believe in His name.

even if jesus had children it does not have any effect on christianity. God so love the world and he gave his son, so that whosoever will believe him might have everlasting life. if he has children at least they should llive beyond him and their will be record of their linage somewhere in israel, or they died with him. what are looking at

OP, it's an interesting look at the life of Jesus Christ. Since some aspect of his life were omitted from the bible, it may be possible that Jesus and Mary Magdalene got married. It's all speculation but it's still possible.

That might be because that was intentionally done. What we know now is not necessary the entire truth. But there's nothing we can do now! Until something concrete comes, we just have to settle for what we have now. Biko!
