Today, the 3rd of March, is WHO's colorectal cancer day. It is a day set aside to create awareness on the prevalence of colorectal cancer (CRC).

CRC, the world's third commonest cancer, is a the cancer of the colon and rectum. A very deadly cancer, 52% of deaths from it occur in developing countries even though it is more prevalent in developed countries.

The need to create massive awareness about this deadly cancer cannot be overemphasized. Help spread by the word!
