How strong and reliable is a Rover, and what is the going price of getting a very neat one from cotonou?

Usually, I'd advice anyone contemplating buying a Rover to tread with caution, due to the Rover K-series engines being prone to cylinder gasket problems, and often cracked cylinder heads / blocks.

But the 600 series is different - none were fitted with Rover engines, all came with the excellent and well-proven Honda units, as fitted to the Honda Accord of similar year. The Rover 600 series was actually a re-badged Honda Accord, with the same reliability.

Yes. Indeed the 620Ti was different, It had an intercooled and turbocharged,16valve, twin-cam 2.0-litre Rover T series engine.

True, it shared the same engine as the Rover 820Ti, and was of course a K-series.
