1. Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA Future Tone (PS4) – January, 10
Hatsune Miko is a single player rhythm-action/ music game developed by Sega in conjunction with Crypton Studios. It is based on the arcade version of the same game title. Players hold buttons when the game indicates a certain note. Sometimes players hold buttons for indefinite periods of time which allows them to receive bonus points. Recommended for children – and adults who just want to have fun. Not for hardcore gamers. Be warned!

2.Road Redemption (PS4, PC, Max, Linux, Wii U, OSX) – January, 15


Not to be mistaken for Red Dead Redemption – this is a vehicular combat racing game based on the “road rash” series (Remember road rash on PC?) Developed by Pixel Dash Studios, the game follows the craziness of the road rash series while introducing much more modern and refined graphics with advanced gameplay mechanics.


Players utilize firearms alongside the usual melee weapons and the game features a split screen multiplayer mode even the pc version – which is quite rare for pc gaming. The Wii U version will also require multiple player sessions between one player on the TV screen and the other player using the Wii -U gamepad.

3.Gravity Rush 2 (PS4) – January 20
Gravity Rush 2 – even better than the first gravity rush released on handheld, gravity rush 2 continues the gravity defying story of kat as she teams up with powerful friend Raven and feline sidekick Syd in an exciting adventurous voyage to discover her origins – Not for gamers susceptible to motion sickness

4.Urban Empire (PC) – January 20
Urban empire is a ‘city ruler’, pioneering a new breed of strategy game that combines city builder features with political scheming and adds profound social and historical events into the mix, creating a whole new – not so great gameplay.

5.Dragon Quest VIII: Journey of the Cursed King Nintendo (3DS) – January 20
First released in 2004 on the Playstation 2 – and now remastered for the DS, Journey of the Cursed King is a fantasy-adventure Japanese-role-playing game designed by master artist, Akira Toriyama which tells of a protagonist on a mission to break the spell of a murderous magician who has wrought tumultuous chaos on the land.

6. Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue (PS4) – January 24
Kingdom Hearts 2.8 is a compilation of the various offshoots of the Kingdom Heart series some of which were released on the DS, the 3DS, on mobile and the PlayStation Portable – all of them not interrelated with the other. A welcome staple addition for KH fans but not so much for newbie gamers.

7.Resident Evil 7: Biohazard (PS4, Xbox One, PC) – January 24
Set after the events in Resident Evil 6, Resident Evil 7: Biohazard continues the franchise of the survival horror series and does not disappoint. Rather it ups the ante of horror with the RE Engine which enables gamers a new experience of every horrific detail in the derelict Louisiana plantation mansion. Not for the fainthearted.

9.Yakuza 0 (PS4) – January, 24
Widely touted as the prequel to Sega’s Japanese Yakuza 0 splits the narrative between Kazuma Kiryu and Goro Majima each character with its own unique fighting style. With each protagonist trying to get back into their respective clans, Yakuza 0 is an old-school blend of action and violence – with a dash of bonhomie silliness.

10. Disgaea 2 (PC) – January 30
A rehash of Disgaea 2 on other platforms – but this time on pc, Disgaea 2 is a fun-filled role-playing game which centers around Laharl on a journey to reclaim his title as King of the Netherworld.

11. Hitman: The Complete First Season (PS4, Xbox One, PC) – January 31

The sixth installment in the renowned Hitman Series, The Complete First Season is a stealth based third-person shooter which allows the player take control of an assassin who is contracted to perform assassination hits on high profile figures around the globe.

Players can perform hits in multiple ways such as with a sniper rifle from distance or a garrote in close quarters. From Sapienza to Marrakesh to Bangkok and Hokkaido, all targets are fair game for the hit man code named "Agent 47"
