I'm an ardent supporter of protest. However, protest should be done in an orderly manner. Our grievance and pressed demands should be coherent and sane. Protest shouldn't be an avenue to speak ill of the school management, it can dent the image of the school. I hope the guy in question will be showed mercy.

Anyanwu as the Kingston Dome learnt insulted not only the vice chancellor of the institution but also other principal officers and high ranking personalities.

It was reported that Anyanwu made some comments on the Student Union page during tge massive protest tagged #freemote. The comments were considered as abusive as it was directed against the VC.

According to various reports, UI is the 2nd school Anyanwu has been rusticated from though it has been denied by the person in question.

Many UI based online platforms including the Kingston Dome have all tried to reach Anyanwu but it was not possible.

According to one of his close friends who pleaded anonymity said that Anyanwu is planning on challlenging the decision made by the management of the University by appealing at the court of law in the next 14 days.

Eventhough the guy really went overboard by insulting the VC,such punishment shouldnt have warranted expulsion.The former VC was also insulted on the same medium back in 2012 and 2013, during the no light and no cooking policy respectively but no student was expelled or rusticated on such matters.
