Today makes it exactly 50 days since
# Cameroon imposed an internet # blackout on its Anglophone regions.
The internet blackout has paralyzed all online transactions. Many researchers are traveling from the English-speaking parts of the country to the French speaking regions in search of internet services. The aim was to stop pressure groups from spreading information calling for protests to ask for more consideration for the English-speaking minority in the country that has English and French as official languages.
