According to Usman who shared the news,Hauwa Abubakar Ali, a 3 year old girl went out to play when she missed her step only to fall on a local kossai seller's hot oil pan.She was rushed to University of Maiduguri Teaching hospital after sustaining severe burn.


According to her parents,doctors requested for N120k to help Hauwa undergo a plastic surgery as her case is a major burn. Hauwa's parents are helpless and couldn't even pay N5k.

This is just carelessness on the part of her parents . Why let a 3year old to play all by herself?

This story reminds me of one notorious area boy who fell inside hot oil in the course of a trailer accident that killed everyone on spot. Twaz a very bad day.
The guy tho. fully recovered now has been deeply humble ever since.

3 yrs, hot oil, frying pan...this is cringeworthy tbh, I got jittery while the page was loading....Parents pls be very conscious of your kids' movements, esp around the kitchen or cooking areas...I know how a splash of hot oil is, let alone this...Wish you quick recovery child
